Issues with dual monitor on Windows

Using Windows 7 RC, downloaded newest version (2.7b18) as well as the beta version of Ultramon (3.0.7) recommended for use with Windows 7.

The dual monitor ES with ultramon does work. However, whenever it comes on, I see the Windows 7 loading cursor (spinning blue circle), and the only way that I can close the screensaver is to press the windows key, right click the icon on the taskbar, and click "close all windows".

My machine is a quad core Intel at 3.5GHz and I have 8GB of RAM... so I don't think this is just an issue of freezing.

Anyone else seeing this problem?

Yes. I'm on Vista Ultimate

Yes. I'm on Vista Ultimate x64 and I'm having the exact same issue using the same builds of ultramon and ES 2.7b18.  The only way I can get it to work for me is in preview mode with one setup (in the ES settings) to run on monitor 0 and the other on monitor 1.

I also see the continuous spinning cursor in the center of my screen.

I think the problem here is that the two instances negate each other somehow. Regardless of how I change the ES settings (blank unused monitors or not) I cannot get both screens running without one being blank unless both are in preview mode in Ultramon.
