[Linux]: ERROR: [...] pango_layout_check_lines: assertion failed

I'm trying to run electricsheep-preferences, but it crashes after about a second. I get the following error message on the command line:

----

$ installdir/bin/electricsheep-preferences

(the gnome-keyring warning should be unrelated)

I'm using Debian unstable on a 64bit (user+ kernelspace) system. My window manager is xmonad (0.10-4). electricsheep was built from svn revision 124.

Same in Ubuntu 12.04

I'm getting the same error on Ubuntu 12.04 after a fresh compilation. I used wxWidgets-2.9.4 and the latest versions of flam3 and electricsheep on the repositories.

Any fix yet?

Has this never been resolved? Will I never be able to run electricsheep-preferences?

I have the same problem. Any solution?

Since this weekend (when mplayer was updated?), my electricsheep stopped working. This new non-mplayer version really sucks.

I have this same problem when I try to open electricsheep-preferences. Does anyone know a fix?

Same problem.

Yes. Source install 2.7b33 from svn.

Found fix, copy

electricsheep-read-only/client_generic/Runtime/Scripts

to

/usr/local/share/electricsheep/Scripts.

Tried that, no luck...

Same problem

I am seeing this as well on Lubuntu 12.04, compiled from source.
