I think this is an awesome program, thank you for the beta preview; and congratulations on this amazing program. I feel kinda left in the dark though. I can open it, and I see cool visuals. But thats as far as my understanding of electric sheep goes. What are flocks, gold sheep, why is there a memory cache.... and the list goes on. Can someone please make a detailed information page. The about link is way too general, I need some answers lol. I look forward to upgrading to gold. Thanks again and good luck.

a "flock" just refers to a group of sheep, probably the ones you have already downloaded.
the gold sheep are our not yet released premium channel. they are higher resolution and quality, available through a subscription.
there is no memory cache but there is a disk cache. that's where your sheep are stored.

how to install in windows xp all versions
all flocks you will find on user forums page it says new sheep packs click on that. on top of that page you will see at the very top of page a link to download new sheep this takes you to a web site called internet archives,scroll down the page and you will see the sheep packs. all of the packs are zip files and they are big ,from that point download your selected sheep packs they are numbered 3 thru 7 pick your choiceafter downloading unzip your sheep packs to c:/documents and settings/all users/application data/electric sheep/content/mpeg ! and thats how you do it for windows xp all versions!!
