Won't go full screen, won't screensave

Hi all, I've seen this problem posted a few times but no solution as yet... (Please point me to the solution if I'm wrong.) I'm running ES on Windows 7 64 bit on an ASUS UL50. Graphics processor is NVIDIA GeForce G210M. It won't run fullscreen nor as a screensaver. If I run the program from SettingsGUI it runs in a window, but CTRL-F causes it to close. The same behaviour actually happens when it tries to screensave - the icon appears in the taskbar for a fraction of a second then closes. Any clues? Shen aum mani padme hum

UAC

Saw another thread with people having trouble with UAC, but disabling it had no effect on my lack of Electric Sheep functionality.

Try changing the monitor

Try changing the monitor number to 1, 2, or 3.
